Deleting write protected media from USB drive.

On Windows 10, I tried to copy the backup file to a USB drive. It only copied some of the files and the files it did copy are write protected media. It also changed the permissions on the USB drive so I cannot format the USB. How would I delete the backup copy I made on the USB drive? The media is write protected and I cannot move or delete it.

There is no physical switch. When I try the right click method I get a window saying the drive is write protected. And when I try to clean the disk with admin cmd I get an error message saying Diskpart has encountered an error: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. See the System Event Log for more information. The event states: The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur in VolumeId: H:, Failure status: The I/O Device reported an I/O error.
