English subtitles to Apple TV+ app foreign language film Apple TV on Android TV

I'm 24hrs new to this, but I'm watching an Apple TV foreign film and need closed captioning as well as subtitles. The language in the audio is English, Hebrew, and Farsi? I've tried CC as well as SDH. SDH presents in Asian characters instead of the English language alphabet. CC gets me nothing. I don't see where I can change the translation or SDH to English language.

I'm using iPhone 11, HomeKit via Airplay , projected onto Sony Bravia (Android TV) via Roku (because this was the only way I could get this to work.) Apple TV App
