Apple watch series 6 cellular issues

I have recently bought an apple watch and got it connect with my plan (Vodafone) and it has worked (witnessed the watch having signal with my own eyes) however now if i turn my phone off or walk away from my phone whilst wearing the watch, it does not connect to cellular? It stays on this screen instead of going green and showing signal???? Please help thanks in advance 👍🏽
