It sounds like you are having issues searching for artists and albums in Apple Music on your iPhone 8 with iOS 14.

Here are a few things you can try to address this issue:
- Check to make sure your iPhone is updated to iOS 14.0.1 - Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Restart your iPhone to refresh it and reestablish a connection to the internet.
- Check your Apple Music subscription to confirm it is active - See or cancel your subscriptions
- On the iPhone, open Settings > Music. Is "Show Apple Music" enabled?
- Check to make sure Sync Library is enabled - Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music
- Check Apple System Status to confirm there are no issues with the Apple Music service.
- Try a different network. If you are using Wi-Fi, switch to a cellular network, to test. (You may need to enable Cellular Data in Settings > Music).
