Websites on iPhone think I’m in Europe

I live in the United States and haven’t left the country or region. Websites suddenly say I can’t access them, and I’m seeing some ads in what looks like Portuguese. I’ve checked my location and language settings in iPhone, and they are correct. My IP address appears to be correct. Any tips to fix this?

I figured it out! Posting here in case it helps someone else. I did another IP check through a different site, and it showed I was in Romania. (Yeah, so that wasn’t Portuguese.) This website (see photo) suggested a VPN or firewall might be to blame. My Verizon account offers Safe Wi-Fi, which I keep enabled. I turned it off, then back on, and everything was fine.
