I just have an iPhone SE and when I trying to check my storge categories it just won’t show. Only shows a grey bar with how much storage I’m using. Any ideas of what could be the problem?

I had this issue as well. I went through the whole Apple technical service chain all the way to the point of syncing with a Mac and sending log files to a Senior tech. Long story short it will resolve itself. Give it a week. I did the same restore file on 2 exact same spec iphone 12 minis and it showed the category separation on one and (grey bar) not the other. I think you just need to let it do its thing for a while. Reboots, resets, restores will not fix this; it just needs time.

I did uninstall most of the stock apps, I did it after a DFU reset and it was fine until I started uninstalling some things and installing my regular apps.

I am already running 14.4. I did some tests and started several times from the very factory setup. Everything worked fine until I engaged ICloud/Messages.
I also ran into another thing: when I first used my XR I used the backup from my old SE. Yesterday I started the XR again from the very beginning and used the wireless method to transfer the data from my old SE to the XR and it worked.
It runs perfect now. I hope my findings can help to find out what happened.

Yes, give it a try. Please save all your data before, the reset completely. Then I uninstalled all the other apps that I don't use, but I kept the shortcuts app and set up the phone again. I hope this will fix it for you, it worked on my 2 devices.

Same here too, IPhone Xr. I tried restarting the phone, disabling+enabling iCloud, restore from backup, everything didn’t work.

I tried several times, I am not sure anymore if this is Claudes by the messages. Did you unistall some of the stock apps after you started from the beginning?

Hi, did you delete the „shortcuts“ app? In my case thats when the issue came up.
I started from the beginning again and let the shortcuts app untouched, everything is fine.
