Best way to access entire iCloud Photo Library for Family use?

Hi, we recently decided to use iCloud for all our photo storage + backup. So we moved everything from the local drive to the cloud version, and we have iCloud/Family stuff all configured properly. We have 2 parents + 3 kids, all on shared plan.

What works:

  • Explicitly shared albums/photos
  • On *MY* devices, but not others', access to the entire rest of the Library

What I am *trying* to accomplish is:

  • On *ALL* devices in the Family, access to the entire rest of the Library

From reading, I can clearly put *everything* in the Shared > Family album, but (1) i believe I will run into the 5K pictures limit for a Shared album and (2) it still won't help with sub-albums/folders, etc.

So, is there a way to accomplish my goal?

Thanks!

Not really.

Your shared album solution is the only way to achieve this using Apple tools, outside of sharing your Apple ID, which is not wise.
