Apple ID

I keep getting emails that someone keeps logging into my old apple ID, and when I try to go and log in to at least change the password or disable it I can never get in. It always tells me the password is wrong, but when I try to reset it it never sends the email to me, which makes no sense because i'm getting the emails for the log-ins but no reset password email. Any idea what I can do to get this to stop happening? I haven't even used this ID in years but it's still weird.
