Just purchased a new MacBook Pro 13 inch and there is a thin red line appearing across the entire top of the Touch Bar. I cannot find anything as to what this may mean or how to turn it off. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
The Touch Bar is a very small touch-sensitive display.
There are no pervasive issues that match what you described.
that leads me to believe your TouchBar has a Hardware defect.
If within 14 days, and you purchased DIRECT from Apple you can exchange it for a new one.
Otherwise, it is likely a repair.
