How do I save a music attachment from an email into ITunes?

Anne,

Copy the attachment from the email to your desktop. Then right-click it and choose Open With > iTunes (or Music).

Is there a way to open an Mp3 file that is in the "Files" folder, within iTunes on an iPhone? Hello, I'd like to be able to email some Mp3 files (which I composed myself so it's all legal) to my friend and for him to be able to open them in iTunes on his iPhone (so he can make playlists etc). Is this possible? I've tried it on my own iPhone to see if it works. I've so far been able to download an Mp3 file from my emails on my iPhone and I've noticed it is saved to the "Files" folder. But I haven't yet found a way to open the file then within iTunes on my iPhone. There doesn't seem to be any option. My friend doesn't sync his Phone up to a computer so this seems like the only way he could get the music onto his phone. But if there is any other way I'd be grateful to hear it. Thanks for any help! Anne,
