I have been trying to enter my Apple ID to receive my 1 year free Apple TV subscription. I tried on my lap top but when I enter my ID and hit the arrow it was unresponsive. When I tried on my iPhone it asked me to confirm with touch ID it kept going back to the previous screen. So I changed my PW and it allowed me to sign in but after I confirmed my method of payment I looked down at the bottom of the screen only to find that somehow Apple switched me over to a 7 day free subscription then $4.99 per month. So what's the scam? You frustrate the user to the point where he is no longer paying close enough attention and then you change the offer to one in which he would not otherwise accept?

Why should I need an article to read in order to do something as simple as to sign up for the free one year subscription and why would I still be receiving E-mails informing me that time is running out for me to do so if I have passed the 3 month period?
