Dear Apple team,
I have Apple TV and Yamaha RX-v585 Yamaha receiver.
Playing movies in Netflix with Dolby atmos support movies it’s showing in AVR signal atmos/pcm instead of Dolby atmos.
not only Dolby atmos all the Dolby digital sound it’s showing as pcm and channel 3/2/.1

It works as intended.
Dolby Atmos for the home theater is available in several variations. There is Dolby Digital Plus with Atmos, there is Dolby TrueHD with Atmos, and there is Dolby MAT with Atmos (like PCM). Apple TV 4K uses Dolby MAT for output. Many receivers will recognize that as PCM (with Atmos).
Other (non-Atmos) audio is being output as PCM Multichannel (up to 7.1), when using the Auto audio format setting. That is the best quality setting.
