can i re-store my iphone without a mac?

I need to factory reset my Iphone 6 but i dont know the restriction password. Ived tried to reset it but ive read you need a macbook to do that. Is there a diffrent way to factory reset it

Since you don’t know the Restrictions password, you must erase the iPhone and set it up as new.


This requires a computer. You don’t need a Mac; a PC with iTunes will work.

You don't need a MacBook. You will need a computer be it Mac or PC. It can be an iMac or a Mac Pro, or a Windows PC running iTunes there is nothing that states it needs to be a MacBook.


You can even borrow one from a friend or family or go to an Apple store and ask to use one of they floor models if necessary.
