Eufy Cam motion not triggering Home Automations; help!

Hello,

I have two EufyCam cameras (not HD or 2c) that seem to be working well with HomeKit. However, if I try to use the motion sensing aspect of the cameras to trigger any lights in my house (for example), even thought it's clear the camera is triggered (I can see the red light on the camera when I walk in front of it), the corresponding HomeKit automation isn't launched. Any ideas?
