Old Apple ID has been deleted my device still keeps asking to sign in

Your Apple ID account has been deleted

Dear Narayanan Jr NN,

This is a final notification to let you know that your Apple ID, , has now been permanently deleted.

I am still being asked to sign in for this AppleID on my iPhone SE.

The same iPhone SE device also appears as signed in under my new Apple ID, which I set up for my iMac and iPad Pro.

What do I do?

Please kindly help.

Thank you.

Check the App Store and iTunes Store to see if there are any updates for apps/purchases. A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

Hey there Narayanan,

It looks like you have been through the process to delete your Apple ID. Before going through that process you have to sign out of your Apple ID on all devices that the account is signed into, as once the account is deleted there will not be a way to reactivate or recreate the account so that you can sign out of your Apple ID. This is explained in How to delete your Apple ID account under section "Before you request deletion of your Apple ID"

"If you forget to sign out, you might not be able to use your device when your account is deleted."
