If your iPad has a broken Home button, this must be repaired before you’ll be able to resolve other issues - such as being disabled.

Apple ended update support for iPad2 in September 2016. iPad2 cannot None be updated to iOS 10 or later versions, as the internal hardware does not meet the minimum technical requirements for new versions of iOS/iPadOS. The 32-bit architecture upon which they are designed is obsolete.

The iPad2, due to its age, is very likely beyond economic repair - the cost of a repair significantly outweighing any potential benefit. Being obsolete, you’ll not find any Apps in the Apple Store that remain compatible with it. Any repair will wipe the iPad, as such, it will not be possible to replace any Apps that were previously installed.

The best advice would be to consider replacement of your iPad with a newer model. Of current devices, even the entry-level iPad8 is compatible with iPadOS14 and the vast majority of current Apps.
