Home office setup advice
Hello to all! While a home Mac user all of my jobs have used PCs up until this new one I'm starting tomorrow. My guess is they'll send a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air with two Thunderbolt ports. I have accessories like USB keyboard, USB mouse, and a HP DVI/DisplayPort monitor (literally taken from a dumpster) that I don't mind reusing. I have occasional use for USB memory sticks and a USB headset too. I'm looking for recommendations for docks or other ways of easily and affordably using these all while keeping the Mac plugged in most of the time.
Bonus points will be awarded if this question can be answered. The monitor is also a USB hub using that fat, square USB input plug/socket and two USB 2 ports out. Can those USB ports be used?
