Time Machine not working with Apple Mail
Time Machine application no longer seems to work for Apple Mail. When I "Enter Time Machine" while in Apple Mail, the screen that opens up is frozen, and there is no ability to scroll back to previous dates.

Did not work
Looks like you'll have to look at each email individually. You can do that with Quicklook and scroll thru a list of the using the up and down arrows on the keyboard.
So I will just remain hopeful that I don't have an actual need to go try to find a Mail piece from my dark past. Thanks for alerting me to the Quicklook function, of which I was previously unaware.

It's an immensely convenient and good feature of the system.
Little correction: I think you meant V7 instead of A7.
I'm glad someone here can read "typo". 😀 Thanks.
CAREFUL! Did you COPY or MOVE that folder?
You do not want to move the folder away from its location.
It is ok to make a copy, of course.
I copied the V7 to the desktop and there is 1,69GB in it.
So I hope to find the messages somewhere in there...with a little help ;-)
Good.
There will be many empty folders in there, but the messages are in there.
You may do a Find inside the V7 folder for files with extension .emlx
Open the Library folder, navigate to V7 and then enter Time Machine. Does that not work?
Ok, I opened the Library folder, then opened Time Machine, but the time line of the Time Machine does not show any backdated versions of the Imac
I was thinking that launch Time Machine from the V7 folder itself and not Library; does that not work? It does for me.
I did that but the time line just shows NOW and doesn't not allow to go back in time.
