First please reset your password.

If you forgot your Apple ID password

If you have issues when you try to sign in with your Apple ID password, use these steps to reset it and regain access to your account.

Reset your password

Use the steps below to reset your password from any trusted iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac. You can also use a friend or family member's iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If that doesn't work, you may not be signed into iCloud on an eligible device or have two-factor authentication enabled for your Apple ID. Follow these steps instead.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap [your name] > Password & Security > Change Password.
  3. If you are signed into iCloud and have a passcode enabled, you will be prompted to enter the passcode for your device.
  4. Follow the onscreen steps to update your password.

Are you certain you weren’t getting phishing email?

If you can't access any of your devices

You can reset your Apple ID password on a friend or family member's iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using the Apple Support app or the Find My iPhone app.

Use the Apple Support app

To reset your password using the Apple Support app on a friend or family member's iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 12 or later, the device owner will need to download the Apple Support app.

Ask the device owner to open the App Store on their iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, then search for Apple Support and download the app. Then open the Apple Support app and follow these steps:

  1. Under Topics, tap Passwords & Security.
  2. Tap Reset Apple ID password.
  3. Tap Get Started, then tap "A different Apple ID."
  4. Enter the Apple ID that you need to reset the password for.
  5. Tap Next, then follow the steps on your screen until you receive confirmation that your Apple ID password is changed.

There was no way to know why you missed that MacBook. Can you screenshot it looks like this occurred in September, it’s kind of blurry for me to see.

I highly recommend very strong password in addition to it, two factor authentication.

no way of knowing how it occurred. Hackers find vulnerabilities. Passwords that are easy guessed and used multiple times. Things like that.

secure your device with strong password, only use it once for you Apple ID and two factor authentication.

and for other websites and apps, make sure the passwords are not the same or easily guessed.

To try and put your mind at ease, think about what is it that hackers want? They want something useful for them.

Your texts and photos aren't useful for them, but your credit card information is.

Please, if you haven't already: I highly suggest you enable Two Factor Authentication

It is easy to set up.

If someone tries to access your account, you will receive a numeric code to authorize. This is extremely useful because you then know someone is trying in that moment there. I can not emphasize using this enough.

I’m just your average User like you but I would encourage you not to worry. Be aware, set up all security precautions and trust Apple to always be working to stay one ( or several) steps ahead. It’s as important that we as Users do our part also. Many of those steps and resources were laid out by some of the previous posters. There are lots of zapper resources available in article form;

Thanks for your answer, I have changed my password and also deleted this old account, because I have another one. I am using my iCloud only on my iPhone, I don’t have any MacBook that’s why I am nervous about this problem, I don’t know how long this person was using my iCloud, I am nervous about my old private messages and photos which was turned off all time on my iCloud on my iPhone

While i was using my old iCloud I always checked the devices and never noticed that MacBook.

i have never had other things except my iPhone. No one knows my email password to recover old iCloud password that’s why I am so nervous I don’t know why it happened. While i was using my iCloud I turned off photos and iMessage from settings.

A. Is it possible for a user to have a second iCloud email without changing a current iCloud ID?

No, as Apple Accounts cannot be merged, as of this reply.

B. Just changing the email address a User might access to receive and send email on, while keeping Apple email and attached Apple ID intact?

Performing a Safe eMail Account Transfer:

  • Do Not Conjoin the eMail Accounts:

If you create a new eMail account, then do not conjoin them, because they would be syncing.

  • Use Archiving to Transfer eMails:

In order to perform the transfer. Contact each your eMail Provider about archiving.

  • For Secrecy:

Use a different domain (i.e. gmail instead of Hotmail)

  • For Safe Keeping:

Do not share this information with anyone whomsoever, and place it in a secret location that only you are aware of, and only you have access to.
