No. That would no make a difference, because it is relevant to your current Apple Account. You log in with the same account. So, opening a new eMail account is the way to go about this. It would be 100% different.

As it reads: "You can’t use an email alias to sign in to iCloud.com, and you can’t use an alias to create a separate Apple ID. An email alias can’t be converted to a primary email account."

Whatabout CONTACTS, the app, you cannot turn that off

I recommend you use a second eMail account for Home and for Apple.

The message seems to be a genuine one from Apple.

Did you have a Macbook Pro before that you sold?

If someone stole your photos and message data there's not much you can do about it. However, they cannot access your Apple ID again, especially if you used a strong password.
