Macbook Pro in clamshell

Hello,

I've been looking to purchase the following stand to hold my Macbook Pro in clamshell mode, and to save space, when it's hooked up to my Thunderbolt Display - http://store.apple.com/uk/product/H6364ZM/A

I was wondering if there are any issues with running a Macbook Pro vertically, or on a tilt? I had read elsewhere that sometimes it's not wise as it may damage the Hard Drive or the Disk drive while it's on?

The height of my 2020 27" iMac hurts my neck The height of my 2020 27" iMac hurts my neck. Can the stand on this new model be removed? Has anyone found a third party desktop stand for iMac that will allow it to sit lower?

iMac 24' Stand Hello everyone, I bought an iMac 24’ from Germany, just about to leave and fly to Madagascar, and want to bring it with me. I want to put it in a suitcase, it fits in except the stand. Anyone knows how to remove the stand? Thanks
