Whenever I'm in a call (MS teams, zoom, FaceTime) I apparently sound "like a robot" and my voice is distorted. When I switch to the microphone on my Mac I am heard perfectly fine. This issue does not seem to happen while using my phone. Does anyone know what causes this and more importantly how I can fix it?

I have the same issue. My AirPods and Beats Solo Pros mic makes my voice sound all muffled and like a robot with im connected to my MacBook Pro. There has to be a simple solution for this. Im working from home and cant even use my wired EarPods that came with my iPhone Xr as they have a lightning connection but my MacBook Pro has a AUX connection. Madness.
