USB-C Multiport failure, order new and sent wrong model replacement

Ok so I ordered a new USB-C Multiport because my USB-C to Macair deformed and lost any connectivity. You sent me model 2119 and it does not work with my USB optical drive. My old USB-C Multiport is the Model 1621. They know the Mac I ordered from can't the figure out the correct part number to send me??? Can I exchange?
