CANT BOOT FROM SIERRA USB
I just made a 10.12.15 bootable installer USB for my iMac 12,1.
This is what happens after i boot in.
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.12

The USB you made is not, in fact, bootable.

What do you mean? What do I have to do to make it bootable?
Its a USB 3.0, maybe it has to be 2.0?
I used Install Disk Creator on another Mac.
BTW the Mac OS version was 10.12.5 I got it wrong.
