iPad Pro not charging

Hi, I have an iPad pro which has been absolutely fine but now will not charge... its out of warranty and when connected to a wall charger the 'Apple Logo' cycles on and off... and if connected to my Mac Book the iPad is not recognised and will not power up (i.e. does not respond the same way as when plugged into wall charger)...I did manage to get it into 'recovery mode' but again only on the wall charger when I tired same steps after plugging into mac book.. not response at all...

Any ideas?
