Why can’t I tap the lyrics button in the music app?

It was selected (though never displaying lyrics... maybe because I don’t pay for Apple Music) and I clicked it off but now I can’t click it back on. Any ideas?

lyrics in Apple Music For the past few weeks, I’ve been unable to view lyrics in Apple Music on my iPhone. The button is not normally visible, but when it is and I tap it, nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Lyrics and music on my iPhone I read a thread from a while ago, and it said turn off sync library and turn it back on, but that did not bring back the lyrics, Or reactivate the lyrics button in the music app. I am a subscriber to Apple Music and I used to always see the lyrics in there and now sadly they disappeared. Frustrating. Can anyone enlighten me? Thank you very much.
