I keep getting mail on my iPhone that’s says it’s being sent to account ***@aol.com I don’t have an aol account. This account isn’t under my accounts in the mail settings and I can’t block these emails it get rid of it. I saw someone else was experiencing this problem but no one responded.

I just saw this on another website and I thought I’d share it!
In Gmail (NOT the mobile app):
1) Go to settings
2) Click ‘see all settings’
3) Select ‘Filters and Blocked Addresses’
4) ‘Create New Filter’
5) Fill in the ‘To’ line with the address that you are receiving email for, but which doesn’t belong to you.
6) Hit ‘Create Filter’
7) Select what you want done with it. I chose to ‘Delete it’ AND ‘Also apply to # matching conversations’.
8) Move on with life.

This doesn’t help. It’s been happening to my email for half a year now, and I have tried everything that’s been suggested, but nothing seems to help.
Apple has not been able to help you with this issue?? I’m receiving the same emails on my personal email account, and I’ve never had an AOL account

I am having the same issue aswell.
It’s something we are ordering online or games or something cause my fiancée does not have this issue and has a gmail Account.
He doesn’t order online or play games or anything ! JS

I took my SIM card out of the iPhone and put it in my old blackberry and I no longer get the aol emails, and I again have more bars 🤷🏽♀️...It’s apple.
you must have an old iPhone cause the iPhone SIM cards aren’t as big now and don’t fit blackberries ??

How to set the gmail filter ??
Well I just tried to delete one of my games “trivia crack” and it won’t even let me delete it. When I click remove app the only option is to remove from Home Screen. Can’t delete it at all! Wtf
