Apple Support Problem

I use an iphone 6Plus running ios 12.4.8 and tried to download the apple support app. i choose to download an older version because i run ios 12. When it was downloaded i opened the app and said it has to run a download and directs me to the App Store and i downloaded the update. But after i updated it the app doesn't run.

How do i fix this issue?

Hey there Jasonapple_,

We understand you've been unable to run the Apple Support app on your iPhone running iOS 12. We'll be happy to help clarify about this.

To use this app, you would need to download from the App Store. However, it does require iOS 13.1 or later. You can read more about this here: Apple Support on the App Store

We hope this helps. Cheers!
