Macbook asking for name and enter password for “Other”
i tried everything, even tried holding command+ R but it just shows a padlock logo (mac efi) . Everything was fine but it changed right after i sent my macbook to the store to get a reformat

Your laptop has an EFI Firmware password set. If you don't know the password, then you will need to take the laptop to Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider along with valid proof of purchase so they can have Apple remove the firmware lock.
