iPhone XS Max stuck on Black screen with apple logo. how do I fix?

I woke up this morning to a notification that my phone was running out of storage (doubtful as its 250gb) anyway I pressed that notification to check it out and then my screen went black with one of those grey progress wheels then the apple logo came on. it was about 15 mins till I realised it was having issues. I hard reset twice and nothing happened except for it losing power and turning off, but its at the same spot again. it seems to keep going in cycles now and the phone is not responsive and cannot be located in finder on my macbook to do a factory reset. any clues or fixes please?

Did you try forcing it into recovery mode?

Erasing the phone using Find My is not going to download another clean copy of the iOS like iTunes would do. Whether the Apple stores are open or not, you would probably still be best served by contacting Apple for help at this point.

I’ve had similar issues on the iPhone X. The only solution I found to fix this was to restore to factory settings by restoring the iPhone. After you restore factory you should be able to restore from a back up.

Yep tried forcing into recovery mode, it won't do it. just get a never ending cycle of apple logo screens.

My phone is still on the black screen even hours later so I cant get any computer to recognise it.

Yep I've done that, they haven't been much help considering the phone won't enter recovery mode nor will be recognised by iTunes. they're saying I have to take it in to get serviced which is annoying considering the apple stores aren't open currently.

neither my PC or my mac are recognising the phone so i can't restore it at all. I've tried everything the internet has told me to try. and apple stors in my city are currently closed
