Water lock

I know you’re supposed to use water lock when swimming but should you use it for washing your hands as well? To keep the water from remaining in the speaker when you’re done.

Water lock just stops accidental touches on your screen and buttons while swimming. It DOES NOT add any additional water protection.

In other words, it is just an attempt to prevent accidental "Butt Dialing" situations by disabling the touch screen and the side buttons.

When washing you hands, just do not soak your iPhone in the hand soap, and you will be good.
