do we need to reset power card every time we face freeze issue?
when I plug in charger to my MacBook Pro, it freezes for sometime...some times it doesn't respond so I need to plug out and again plug in the charger.

Try an SMC reset.
If this is a USB-C Mac, then does it happen when using another USB-C port especially on the other side?
If it is a USB-C Mac, then you should have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop and provide an estimate for the repair.
