iPad to projector links HDCP

Hi

Need some advice on connecting an iPad to an external projector to stream Disney+, Prime or Netflix. iPad connects and projects fine using a 3rd party firewire and HDMI + USB connection (photos, websites, Utube etc), but whenever we try to stream movies on Netflix, Disney+ we only get sound, but no image. This seems to be a HDCP problem - any suggestions as to how to solve this?

Unless devices explicitly state HDCP compliance - with a version number - you can reasonably assume that HDCP is not supported. The vast majority of commercial media requires HDCP support. Every active device in the connection chain (source, AV Amplifier and Projector/Monitor) must be HDCP compliant.

Great thanks - sorry I meant lightning not FireWire...the iPad connection port is standard lightning, and the connection to the projector splits into a HDMI and USB in. The cable is from MPIO - I just rechecked and it states it is not HDCP compatible - so that will be the problem. The projector is a ELEPHAS GC333 - it does not state if it is HDCP compatible
