Mounting Disk Image

It's been 3-4 years since I burned a DVD with iDVD. I have the file all rendered into a disk image. I remember at this stage if I can mount the disk image successfully then it is ready for burn. Correct me if I am wrong. The disk image isn't "mounting." It opens a file which as Audio_TS and Video_TS folders. Perhaps am I just doing things wrong. So my question is: How do I confirm that it was rendered properly/works and is ready for burn? TIA!

A few things to try....

To watch your DVD launch the application called DVD Player by double clicking on the application in your Applications folder.

Now double click the disk image and you should be able to watch the video in DVD player. You may also get the TS folders show at this point but just close.

Or with the DVD player launched drag the image file down to the DVD player app in the doc at the bottom. Your DVD should play.

If all OK then to burn a DVD , Right click ( ctrl+click) on the image file and in the pop-up select" Burn Disk Image ( name) to disc.

Or right click on the Video TS folder and select Burn Video TS to disc.

Double click on the disk image so it shows on the desktop:

With a DVD disc in your optical drive Control (right) - click on the video DVD icon on the Desktop and select "Burn XXXX to Disc…" from the contextual menu.

Select the slowest burn speed available to help assure the most accurate burn. First follow this workflow to help assure the best quality video DVD. Always use top quality media:  Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
