if i were to join a different family sharing would the family organizer still be able to pay for my icloud storage

The family organizer can only pay for the shared iCloud storage of the family in which you are a member and you can only be a member of one family at a time. If you leave your current family and join another family, the family organizer in the new family can pay for your shared iCloud storage as a member of the new family.
