Apple cancelling the orders and then saying the customer cancelled it

I ordered the iphone with airpods from Apple India website. Got a confirmation about my order but now it says that I cancelled it. I did not cancel the order and now Apple is not even responding to queries. Not sure what to do. My card was debited of the amount. I see this as misrepresentation of facts and want to explore if there is a recourse available.

I don't work for Apple. No one on this forum of users helping users works for Apple. All I can do is suggest you use the Contact Support button at the top of this page or click this link which should lead you to the same site you can reach in India for Apple:

  1. The country you live in - India
  2. Order Reference: ***
  3. Payment Mode used (Not to provide any other detail): Credit Card
  4. Shipment ZIP/PIN: ***
  5. Have you carried out any amendment after order placement.: No

I have received a message from my Bank that the amount has been debited from my account post which Apple confirmed my order. Not sure if that could be the case.

It would be better if you can please re-post with a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images / pictures speak louder than words. Do not provide any personal credentials, such as email id, apple id, IMEI number, Serial Number, Phone number, Order ID, if you are sharing a map ensure your location is not identifiable. Etc.

I can only infer that your credit card may have been blocked by your Bank. Did you get any confirmatory call from the Bank seeking and getting confirmation that the transaction was made by you? If no, then the cause is that they could not contact you hence the transaction was blocked.

Please check with them. Speak to your Relationship manager. The bank will require a confirmation from you after the transaction is made online.

Place another order after taking the Bank into confidence as the amount is large for Credit Card transactions in India.

It is likely a mistake email. If your card was debited and you received a message saying your order is being dispatched, it appears your order was not cancelled.

Either way, we are NOT Apple on this forum. We are ALL users on this user to user only forum. We can't help you sort this. You need to contact Apple India to get direct assistance.
