Black panel beneath my MacBook screen is cracked?

The black panel beneath my MacBook Air screen is cracked...how do I fix this this? Otherwise, my computer works fine. I have no idea how long it’s been there. I’ve never noticed it before. Help?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Are you referring to the black bezel around the screen? You cannot fix that; if you have Applecare +, Apple will replace the screen and you only pay a small fee. If it is not, I would have it checked anyway - cracks do have a tendency to become larger/longer and it will eventually affect your screen and graphics.
