I have no control of the volume with my new magic keyboard. The older one worked just fine.

How do I fix the new magic keyboard to work properly with my Mac? The volume keys do not work. The increase volume key launches "launch pad" and the Lower volume key slightly shrinks screen size. Can the older wireless keyboard be repaired by Apple? I certainly liked it better. Running Yosemite OS as it is a must that I am able to continue to use iPhoto as opposed to using photo.

In the Keyboard tab of Keyboard system preference, make sure "Use F1..." is unchecked.
