Macbook pro won't start

Suddenly my macbook failed and I can't get it restarted. I keep seeing a black screen and the fan is not spinning. I have already tried the different key combinations and disconnected everything from the motherboard. The LED light of the magsafe stays green, when I disconnect the battery it turns orange. My battery needed to be replaced, but I've been using the charger most of the time. Could this be a battery problem or rather the motherboard or something else?

Thx, but nothing of above things seems to work. The screen remains black and it doesn't start.
