iPod Touch 6th Generation

I forgot the passcode for my iPod touch and it says to connect to iTunes but it won't let me reset it following the steps on the site. what do i do?

If your device is disabled or you forgot your passcode, you will need to erase your device


Follow the steps in this article:

If you’ve forgotten the passcode on your iPod touch, or your iPod touch is disabled – Apple Support


If you have a backup you can restore it from that

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
