If I have a USB converter plugged into my new Macbook Pro, where can I see the things that are plugged into the USB?

I am trying to get my TASCAM US-1200 interface to connect to my new Macbook Pro. Obviously the USB change on the new Macbook is challenging, so I bought a USB converter. I don't know where to find the things that are plugged into the USB. On a PC it is clear where to find things that are plugged in. I am new to Macs.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Now sure about newest macOS, however the USB tree can be viewed by use of 'About this Mac'

& open System Report, then choose USB from list of items in hardware; all or most USB appears.

Take care & good luck!🌻🐝
