iPhone X Display Issue

I submitted my 2 year old iPhone X under the Apple's Display Module replacement issue wherein they have admitted for certain issues and would be replacing for all the phone purchases in the last 3 years (https://support.apple.com/en-in/iphone-x-display-module-replacement-program). Due to whatever reason, the repair got declined and i got my phone back after 7-8 days. I submitted the phone in a running condition with minor ghost touches and unresponsive touches. Now when i received my phone back, it is not turning on and it is put on me to find out ways to get it resolved by bearing the repair cost of this whole scenario. Please recommend possible actions that i should be taking in this case.

Does your iPhone has any damage which impairs the ability to complete the repair, such as a cracked screen? If so, that issue will need to be resolved prior to the service. In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the additional repair.

Apple may restrict or limit repair to the original country or region of purchase. Are you trying to get a repair in a different country than the one you purchased it in?

I would Contact - Official Apple Support to resolve this issue.

I have the same problem. My iphone X touch got unresponsive and apple sent me to their authorized service center for warranty repairs. The service center rejected my repair without a clear explanation. I have no external damage or liquid damage of any kind. Their "expert opinion" was that they tried to replace the screen and that didn't fix the issue so there must be some other problem in the phone!

Yes I agree about additonal damage hampering repairs. But at least in my case I did not have any damge physical or internal liquid damage, even confirmed by the service center.

It just seems like they couldnt repair my iphone X, so they gave an excuse of some other damage that nobody can verify.

Also in original OP case @RishabhMadaan, they have made his phone in an even worse condition then he submitted. You should contact apple support via chat and escalate the issue to service manager. OR In india their number is 000800 1009009 and then press # and input your case ID. Hopefully some service manager will listen to yuor voicemail and contact you back.

Good luck
