Clicking "get started" in the request mail takes me to icloud settings and I can't seem to find the invitation tab in my settings.
Logging off and on to icloud didn't solve the problem.
Is there any suggestion or solution I can try?

If you are still having issues, can you provide more details? Which device and OS are you currently using? Also, ave you ever joined Family Sharing previously?

Thanks for your suggestion and willingness to help.
However, that didn’t solve my problem.
I’m using an iPhone 6s running on iOS 14.0.1. The issue I’m having is that in settings>(my name). The invitation option is not on the list, even when I go through the request mail.
Do you have any other suggestions?

Thank you for providing those details.
We noticed you are running an older version of iOS. Let's back up your device and update using this article: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Once you update, test to see if you can access the invitation.
If you are still unable to access the invitation, have the organizer resend the invitation using the previously sent Set Up Family Sharing article.
Specifically the section titled "See if your family member accepted the invitation."
