Apple Pencil 2 Slight Bent

Hi I just recently purchased a new iPad and the Apple Pencil 2. I realised that when I place the pencil on the flat side down on a table, I am able to "rock" the pencil by lightly putting my finger on either end of the pencil. After placing the pencil on my iPad, I realised there was a slight curve to it where both ends of the pencil were about 2-3mm off the iPad. Is this normal?
