I cant open up my suddenlink email account

When I click on mail , nothing opens up. When I click on accounts, the window asks for my password and then says unable to verify but it is the correct password. If I click on advanced, a window comes up that says hostname- pop.suddenlink.net and under it path prefix - ( blank) I don`t know what goes in there. Suddenlink.com online help is worthless. Worse company ever. Any ideas?
