We certainly would like to help get your iPad working with your TV as AirPlay and screen mirroring are two amazing features. Let's start with making sure your TV is listed under our compatibility list here: Use AirPlay to stream videos or mirror your device's screen
As we've released several new updates recently, the latest one is iPadOS 14.1. If this isn't the version installed, please follow these steps: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
To completely rule out being outdated, we also recommend checking for a firmware update for your smart TV. You may need to reach out to the manufacturer for help with this.
