My name is Siri and I would like nothing more than to own and use a HomePod. However, since you can't change Siri's wake word, having a speaker that wakes up when someone says "Hey Siri" just won't work in my life. Are there any plans from Apple to allow users to change Siri's name or does Apple plan to change Siri's name in the near future?
Anyone who actually knows what Apple's plans are will be subject to an NDA. You can use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to let Apple know you'd like an option to change the command phrase, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
