iPad stuck on flashing logo.
My iPad (6th generation) won’t turn on and its constantly stuck on a flashing white screen with the Apple logo.
I tried holding the off button along with the home button. And it takes me to the screen telling me to connect to iTunes via a pc.
which I do and it asks me to Update and restore.. which seems to be going well! Then I get error code 4013 which is basically telling me that I should update iTunes.. I have the latest version for windows. Or that security software may be blocking it. I turned it all off. Tried again.. same error code.
I watched a lot of videos on YouTube basically telling me to do the same thing and it seemingly all goes well in these videos. But I just keep getting the same. A lot of the videos say “hold the off button until you get the “swipe off” but mine isn’t even doing that. Just the flashing screen or the little usb lead pointing towards the pc icon.
does anyone know of anything else I can try before just buying another?
it’s out of warranty and I’ve just looked at repair prices.. I may as well just buy a new one for that amount.
thanks in advance for any ideas.
