Keyboard Sound Volume Keys

I have a Mac Mini (Mid-2010) and I'm using a mac keyboard. Whenever I want to increase the sound volume with the key (increase), whatever page I'm in, it switches to Dashboard page.

How can I correct this?

Go to Apple > System Preferences > Keyboard > Input Source tab and make sure that the correct keyboard lay out is selected. Then go over to the Shortcuts tab and click Restore Defaults.
