Sound function keys don't work after upgrade to BigSur

I have a Mac bluetooth extended keyboard which includes a number pad on the right. F10, F11, F12 keys are labeled to control sound. When I updated to BigSur these keys no longer control sound and I can't find a way to change them to sound.

F11 and F12 setting My F11 and F12 keys are not controlling the sound levels on my Mac Mini. I want these keys to lower and raise the volume of the sound, respectively. Instead the keys move away and bring back any open windows. I remember that there is some setting in the Keyboard for getting these two function keys to control sound levels rather than windows. I do not remember what that setting is. Does anyone know?

Dictation fisical key (on F5) won't work when you swap the "special function keys" to "function keys" on system preferences.... I think this is a bug. this on Macbook M1 Pro, if I press fn+F5 nothing happens if I revert "function keys" to "special function keys" dictation key works just fine. am I doing something wrong?

Big Sur sound settings disconnect bluetooth keyboard/mouse I'm using a new Mac Mini M1 with Big Sur. Whenever I go to sound settings my bluetooth keyboard and mouse are disconnected for about 30 seconds. This happens only when going to sound settings, either via top-menu, control-center or system preferences\sound. I have previously used the mouse and keyboard with a 2009 iMac 21,5". Battery level is 100% on both. Any suggestions?

Do the other function keys work? Try the following; Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support.
